The City of Indio will be hosting a Sustainability Collection Event on Saturday, September 21st from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. funded by CalRecycle. Collection is for Indio residents only and commercial waste will not be accepted.

Items accepted:

- Tires: All tires must be off the rim

- Used oil and oil filters

- Electronic waste, household batteries and lightbulbs

- On-site paper shredding services (limit of 4 boxes)

- Plastic bags, from grocery or retail stores
