Our mission, in partnership with the community, is to safeguard and improve the quality of life in Indio by using traditional and non-traditional policing methods that promote trust and confidence in the Indio Police Department.

The Indio Police Department is among 15 law enforcement agencies nationwide that are part of the 21st Century Policing Task Force. The initiative focuses on areas such as technology, trust with the community, effective officer training and departmental policy and oversight to create a transparent bond with our community.
