Assistant Chief Brian Tully and Sergeant James Koyanagi are in charge of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival.

These music and arts festivals draw 100,000 plus visitors a day, from all over the nation and world, to the City of Indio. The Command Team assists in mitigating public safety concerns and developing event routes by coordinating with local promoters, event organizers, and City of Indio Community Services Manager Jim Curtis to provide police and traffic control services for these festivals.
