The Field Services Division accounts for the largest representation of sworn department personnel, exemplifying the department’s commitment to the preservation of life, protection of property, and enforcement of the rule of law. The Field Services Division are the men and women you see patrolling your neighborhoods providing quality public safety services to the residents and visitors of Indio.

IPD Officers strive to accomplish the goal of a safe Indio by using traditional and non-traditional policing methods, and by providing responsive and professional law enforcement services through the utilization of dedicated Indio Police Officers, and valued community partnerships.
